Partytime

Ive had a busy day it was Beth's birthday party and i have had fun playing with my cousins. I have played golf played on the little bus in there wendy house and with the dolls and the barbecue set and with Ben's tool set. I also got to spend time with Joe who is my favorite.

She has had her operation today and so far is ok.

Why i was feeding Sam, Abi came over took his bottle out and put in his dummy which he spat out so i carried on with his feed. But she didn't like that so came back and took his bottle out again and replaced it with his dummy.

News

Despite it being a week since she fell my Auntie Ann is still waiting to got to theatre she should have gone the end of last week and didn't then there was a problem with her bloods that needed correcting and the last two days they have said she is going but she is still waiting. Which she is finding hard as she keeps building her self up to go and then being told she wont be.

What do you do

We decided to buy a potty for Abigail and to get her used to the idea ready to start potty training not sure she quite got the right idea though she semmed to think it was a car.

Macy decided that this looked like a comfy place to sleep.

Bob the Builder

Not sure if coping the programme or making it up but having fun playing bob all the same. But all the adults have come to dread the words "bob on" which our frequently to be heard although things may improve some new episodes are on the way.

Amazing

Last night as usually we were having a quiet time and instead of going into our bed as she normally does abi settled in her bed so i left her and she went to sleep on her own in her room. She did disturb at 11.30 but the slept till 5 a big improvement. Then when we went up for her afternoon nap today while she was running around initially i left her and when i went back up she was asleep in her bed.

Daddy carried on today so after my nap i went out to help and as he had nearly finished i wasn't in the way so i helped daddy to tidy up by sweeping the path.

Quiet time

I have started having a quiet time with Abi where we read the daily reading out of her book and say prayers. Not sure if she quite understands but it is a special time we share. Sometimes we do it as she is running round but she is starting to be still and listen.

Helping

Daddy and Grandad were busy in the front laying some paving but i wanted to help not stay inside with mummy but first i had shorts on so mummy wouldnt let me go past the step then she changed me and let me out but i started eating stones so grandad said i had to come in so i didnt get to help much even though i tried and i put my builder hat on.

Update

Its not a hip but her thigh but she has a bad break and is hopefully going to theatre tomorrow to have it fixed. But there not sure how she will manage when she goes home. She is doing OK at the moment. My mom also heard today that her nephew who is in the army has left for Afganhastan.

News

About a month ago i blogged about my auntie who had to have a mastectomy she has been doing well and staying with her elder sister my auntie Ann so that there younger sister only had to visit one house to look after them. She has been doing well and we were planning to visit them next weekend. But tonight when my mom phoned to see how they were there was no reply so she tried there sister and my Auntie Ann has had a fall and is in hospital we think she has broken her hip and they are keeping in. While she is fairly well for her age a fractured hip in your eighties is still a big thing to cope with so we wait for more news. They are not actually my aunties but my moms cousins but i have always called them auntie and since my nan passed away i they remind me of her with my auntie Dora being the kind side of my nan and auntie Ann the fun side of her. In fact mt auntie Ann grew up with my nan as she was the 5th of 7 girls and auntie Ann was the eldest of my nans eldest sister. So right now were praying that Auntie Ann is ok and Auntie Dora and Elsie are able to look after her.

Cute Take Two

Abi woke early again this morning and didnt want to come in bed with us so sat on the landing by the light we leave on for her if she wakes and sat reading her books.

Abigail has been disturbing at night and wanting to come in with us so daddy has been taking her back to bed and sleeping on the floor next to her till she settles. Last night when we went to bed Abi wasn't in her bed or our bed but curled up on the duvet next to her bed. Cute or what?
