Counting my blessings

We take so many basic things for granted just watching toughest place to be a midwife and can not believe the basic equipment and drugs that they dont have access to in afracia. The sensless loss of life for simple and basic equipment. So i am most definatley counting my blessings... For all that we have and take for granted the health care we have acces to and thankfully dont appreciated and for my health and that of my families

de Cluttering

A spring clean and declutter seemed like a good idea yesterday but now not so sure ....particuarly as not finished. And there are jumble bags rubbish bags and mess. i guess it worth it when done

Valentines Day

Had a great day as usual where we were both spoilt by each other plus ste took me out on Saturday for a great meal and then to the cinema to see The Kings Speech. Abigail came home very proudly with a valentines card and a heart for mummy and daddy......Every time she sees a heart she calls it a love heart........Then when ste was opening his stuff from me she decided to get in on the act and very proudly tols ste they were from her sammy and mummy and then she insisted on giving us all hugs. All in all a perfect valentines day

Gems from Abigail

Abigail has been taking more on board and asking more questions and coming out with more things. There was another gem from her today first she asked where jesus lived so i told her in heaven so then she wanted to know with his mummy daddy and baby

Forward planning

Abigail is definatley planning ahead we went shopping and when we got back she picked up the flowers i had brought and told ste she was going to use them for her wedding

Thankful

is very thankfully today but not quite counting the chickens yet.....heard today that ste job safe for the moment

Parents evening

is so proud of Abigail we went to parents evening and she had a great report from nursery no negatives at all. But best thing for me was she only has to be asked once to do things and has good manners always says please and thank you. She also has a group off close friends who are mainly boys and is great at imaginative play. Abi is developing normally and hitting all the milestones.
