Room update

Grandad has been up in the week undercoating and sanding to help daddy. Daddy has been busy over the weekend but the room is now painted apart from the door which still needs some work on it. Daddy's says he needs to sort the floor out put the wood up for the curtain rail this week so he can get the carpet down next weekend and make a start on the wardrobes. Hes a bit worried about putting the border up and stickers but i think mummy has it worked out.

Where is Abi

we have got two gates downstairs original for Macy and also Abigail and one the top of the stairs. We keep the one shut into the kitchen as Abbi heads to play in there and plays with Macy things its also only small and probably the worse room in the house and defiantly the next one to be tackled. But the one that leads to the hall and stairs we keep open because Abbi likes to walk up the hall with her buggy and also she has shown on inclination to walk or crawl up the stairs and in fact if you try and get her to walk she sits down and lifts her arms so you carry her. So today as usual she was locked out of the kitchen while i was sorting tea out i suddenly became aware it had gone quiet so went to see what she was up to but there was no sign of her. I checked the stairs thinking she might be on the bottom stairs but no so i ran upstairs thinking there was no where else she could be and terrified as to where she could be. There she was sat in front of her bookshelf reading a book. How she got up stairs I'm not sure and how she did it without hurting herself I'm amazed at i felt frightened relief and guilty all at the same time and a little bit amazed. But one thing for certain she has no longer got the run of the hall. When i had brought her back down and yes she did walk this time i phoned Ste who was also stunned, an worried but also a little bit proud of what his little girl had achieved.

Mummies Birthday

When it was time to get up me and daddy came down and i helped daddy to get things ready he put banner up and got mummies cake ready to surprise her with and put her cards and presents on the table with it. He then got mummy to come down she opened her presents and cards off us which she loved. I then helped her open her other presents while daddy made breakfast, we then got ready to go out but daddy was delaying leaving. And right on cue the lady arrived with mummies flowers we then went out as it was a cloudy day we headed to the shops. We had a nice lunch. Mummy enjoyed her day and loved her presents. Well at least she kept saying thank you to daddy for spoiling her and making it a nice day.

Barbecue

Daddy decided to have a barbecue today for mummies birthday we were not sure if it would be nice enough but it was. Macy went to grandmas for the afternoon because he cant be trusted around food. Mummy and daddy have both been busy and nanny grandad, grandma uncle peter and auntie Julie came round. Auntie Linda and Melissa called in but i was asleep. I had fun playing in the garden and eating some nice food. Daddy has planned surprises for mummy and i cant wait to surprise her tomorrow. It is also daddy's grandads birthday tomorrow so we will call in to see him as well. I hope mummy likes her present daddy helped me to pick it and get a card.

Room

Mummy and Daddy brought some paint on Thursday and daddy has been busy again today he has painted everything white. Mummy says hes undercoating the wood and walls but the celling and top part of the walls just need one more coat. Daddy says its ready to put the colour on now and hopefully by the weekend it will be ready for the carpet to go down. It looks loads better but not sure i want to move in just yet.

Hairdressers

Mummy took me to the hairdressers today grandma was there when we got there but she had these strange things in her hair. A nice lady took us to a chair and mummy put me on her lap and then put a apron round me, she was a nice lady and let me play with the jars on the shelf i didn't mind have my hair cut this time and liked watching in the mirror. The best is i can see now without my hair being in the way but daddy says i look even cheeky with my fringe cut.

room progress

daddy and grandad have been busy again while me and mummy went shopping and had lunch with grandma. They have now put the skirting board picture rail and cornicing up. Daddy says they need to sand down and then they can start painting we need to pick carpet soon and daddy says order my bed.
