New Shoes

I started pulling myself up on the furniture and keep shuffling in to the hall and kitchen it was decided it was time i had some shoes. Mummy rejected the ones with Velcro as I'm an expert at getting shoes off. The lady then brought some with buckles but then when she put them on i would curl my toes so she couldn't tell if they fitted properly i wouldn't stand either. Eventually i did stand for here mummy then couldn't decide between the pink or purple she eventually decided on the pink, i think she wanted a dark pair that would go with all my outfits. Mummy says i am not a proper girl as i don't like shoes.

Hear i am i with the shoes i was trying to put them on but when mummy got the camera out i gave up.

It looked liked abi might be about to crawl she was on her tummy and swivelled round then decided it was hard work and curled up for asleep.

But i have to say she was an angel when i took her to the drs for her jabs sitting reading her book while we waited.

And only had a little cry but that might have had something to do with the chocolate drops i

update

Me and daddy haven't been well Daddy's been off from work and had to go to the doctors last week and went back on Monday. He still not better but is better than he was. I had a cold and cough and felt very grumpy and tired, and just wanted to cuddle with Daddy. I am feeling better now apart from my gums hurt and Mummy says i got to go to see the nurse tomorrow for my injections. Mummy has been busy looking after me and Daddy and going to work she was very tired, but so far managed to carry on.

Mummy says I'm back to my cheeky self, i got into trouble last night Macy was lying nice and quietly but i spotted he was on the remote controls and i wanted them so i shuffled over to him and pushed him so he moved. But mummy was not very happy with me and took the controls away.

Daddydidnt fell very well today so had a lie down on the sofa but macy wanted to snuggle as well.

New Years Day

Today we went on as Daddy says the annual new years day trip. We went to Flettwood and did some shopping then carried on to Blackpool for guess what yes, chips. I got to have some fish and chips as well, mummy said i could as I'm a big girl now.

Looking Back Looking Forward

I have been looking at the blog and the entries over the last year. The year has not quite what we expected and there have been some hard times. When i look at the entry for the beginning of the year it was strange being a family on New years eve but all being apart but we started the year full of hope looking forward to a new beginning as a family with the arrival of Abigail. Little did we knew that we were soon to lose dad. And that he would miss so many key moments through the year. But there was an overwhelming sense of knowing it was gods plan.

We have in the last year had Abi dedicated a joint celebration with daddy's birthday. First mothers day and fathers day. Ste mom and dads ruby wedding anniversary a 30th birthday not forgetting a first Easter Christmas, birthdayand a holiday, and of course a second wedding Anniversary. A christining and a wedding.

We have celebrated the usual milestones laughed at silly jokes but most of all enjoyed the wonderful miracle the joy and happiness that Abigail brings to our lives. We cant imagine being without her she somehow makes life complete. And although there have been difficult times through the year god has been there with us through it all holding us when needed and guide our lives as he has always planned.

As we enter 2008 we live a magical year of discovery, i also know that deb has finished her chemo and while she still faces radiotherapy things are looking good. So this new year eve we will spend as a family with 2007 ending better that at times we could have imagined and with the cup definatley overflowing. So as we end the year i knew that just as last year god has a plan for my life and he is simply the scourse ofall we need.
