september

In work we have a prayed diary for the month. September has this on the front and i thought how appropriate.

Lord,i cannot understand
its all too much for me,
undeneath the music
there's a note of tragedy
but it comforts me to know
that all things everywhere
rest within the circle
of they providential care.

life and death are part of
an eternal mystery,
the future is uncertain
and the end i cannot see
but all i need to know is this
that theres a god above
who leads the faithful
through the darkness
and his name is love
