recovery

I only sat in car whille ste run a some erands for a change of scenary and some fresh air and left me felling exhausted but i did enjoy the fresh air...got gorgeous flowers off ste today and lovely handmade cards of the kids

Early to bed

Its only eight and am allready in bed only thing is sammy awake and he keeps doing round round the garden, I have really underestimated how much this has taken out of me felt great yesterday in hospital till got home then washed out. Had a burst of energy this morning when helped Ste get kids ready and then went back to bed then got nup and about but the thought of doing anything well lets just say i spent the day catchin up on weekend tv and my mom delivered lunch

Home Sweet Home

After a Nightmare 3 days i am finally home. Samuel started with a tummy bug on fri then i followed thought it was just a bug and would be ok by morning Sammy was he was back to eating and drinking but by sat evening i was still beeing sick and couldnt keep anything down including water, had high blood sugars. Ste had been great all day keep the kids out of the way so i cuold rest but by evening he had to phone the oncall gp who told him to phone 999, to which i agreed if he came with me sio must have been ill, its , not a nice experience being a patient on an ambulance. But they gave me some iv fluids and something to stop me being sick and was ok but exhausted took me through to a and e and then when they gotmy blood results i was rushed round to resus. Because of my diabetes i had gone acidotic and they need to correct it and watch me, i also had a really high pottasium level which thay needed to get down because it was causing my heart rate to do funny things, hence critical care. But by sun morning they started taking drips down and i was back on normal insulin and told i could go to ward but there were no beds so stayed where i was until they sent me home today.Just coming home has exhausted me but i am so glad to be home as i havent seen Abigail or Sammy since Saturday, i have just had some proper food but feeling really washed out now didnt know it took so much energy just to climb the stairs and as much as it was good to see Abigail and Samuel i am so relieved they have gone to bed. The other thing is poor ste came down with it on Sunday.

Dont know what we would have done without my Mom and Ste's Mom and Dad so a big thank you for helping us. And of course Ste who as always looked after me and i am sorry i scared you.

Slow coach

From the time the teacher called Abigail name to tell her she could go to the time we actually left must have been 5 mins she kept passing things then going back for something else in fact by the time we left ther were no other children left.....But she did come out proudly carrying her reading bag with her first reading book to bring home which she read perfectly to me but think it is more good memory

If Ste wasnt so ill i would be very cross with him...but as it is he got away with it. I tell him to stay off work and go to doctors and he ignore me and says i wait for tablets to work and i will be ok. His mother comes round and tells him to stay in bed and he curls under the duvet and dosent argue

My Star

Abigail came home from school with star of the day for the second time, shes allways my star of the day but nice to know she is earning rewards in school
The Abigails gem of the day Do you know Justin Beber? I dont know what stunned me more that she knew who he is was or that she thought i knew him

where do i go wrong

every morning i send Abigail to school clean and tidy with neat hair lunch bag and everything else in her school bag.............Out of school comes a child carying her bag lunch box and other bits and pieces and her coat usually with hair all over the place and what was once a white polo shirt streaked with black and other stains...Where am i going wrong.......

Mummy can fix it...

Abigail came home with black fingernails it looked liked she been gardening but she says not so after her shower i got her to soak them then cleaned and cut them...........she told me that i was a good mummy because i fixed things

Christmas List

Abigail did her Christmas list today although she was saying she wanted everything its a very modest list with 6 items on it and instuctions for what she wants off Uncle Peter

Daisy Bear

Abigail has got Daisy Bear to look after for the week for doing so well in dance class and is the proud owner of her first pair of tap shoes. She also got her first lot of homework from school which we did on the way home from school which was collecting Autumn things.

Since Abigail started school i have made her get changed when she gets in from school so tonight when Sammy came in from Nursey with nanny he procedded to get clean clothes out of his nursery bag and get changed
