Day 6

another good day started with Bacon sandwichmade by Ste then Teignmouth today and the sun came out kids had great fun on playground then a final visit to trago mills but unfortunatley the train was'nt running....Poor Abigail has been so upset tonight as she dosent want Nanny and Grandad to go home and eithen said she wanted to come home with them and would miss mummy and daddy. had a great first week and off to tintagel tomorrow

Day 5

started the day by sitting eating breakfast watching squirrels from the caravan listening to the birds singing very tranquil site. Almost perfect day again went to paignton this morning had lunch with nanny and grandad then to the beach at goodrington sands...then a swim before tea only spoilt by kids being wingy tonight but both are very tired

Day 4..Perfect day

Woodlands adventure park today in gorgeous sunshine followed by a drive through dartmouth and ice cream at the front why kids slept and on to Brixham for an early evening stroll and of course fish and chips perfect day with my lovely family..days dont get more perfect

day 3

Dawlish and dawlish Warren today followed by a swim...................me and ste love Dawlish Abi enjoyed taking pictures of the ducks...Both of them loved the little rides at Dawlish Warren Daddy loved the doghnuts......then sammy had daddy and grandad worn out by saying again everytime they took him on the water slide

Day 2

Just as we were going to bed last night Ste noticed Abigail and Sammy were side by side and Abigail had her arm across sammy so cute


Good but busy day swimming this morning and then trago mills back fot tea and abigail and sammy had great fun playing out showers this morning then sunny this afternoon and even nicer this evening.

Holidays 2012...Day 1

Managed to set of for 6 much easier with having the van cause we could leave stuff in it and didnt have loads of last minuite stuff to put in.  one stop for breakfast and  made it in time for lunch had lunch sat in the van amongst the trees with the sun i shinning.............. looking forward to 2 great weeks with my gorgeous family.

After luch explored the site went for a walk with Abigail and nanny while ste and his dad tried to put the awning up... Took kids to playground then went to shops and in search of ste favourite chippy unfortunatley it didnt live up to his expectations as they were still on old potatos

mackie

took mackie dog kennels and off he went wagging his tail witout a backward glance

Sammy

for the last few weeks why it has been cold and wet sammy has wanted to wear sandles shorts and tshirt today he wanted to wear long sleeve top and jeans ...and the sun was shinning

never to old

stupid me forgot to take my clothes to change into to work but mum came to the rescue...never to old to need you mom

Fire Alarm

ste just told me the fire alarms went off in work so he went back to his desk grabbed little ted out of his bag as he was minding it for Abigail put him in his pocket and hoped no one had noticed cause they would have thought he was mad .....

Shopping

had a lovely day with sammy who has been a little angel all day and my firend and her little girl although sammy wasnt impressed when she tried to get his postman pat van but he enjoyed his lunch and tea and biscuits and didnt mind the shopping to much

Dvds

most children go to bed clutching a teddy bear ....sammy goes to bed clutching his dvds

Why?

why do we go mad cleaning before holidays when everything needs doing as soon as you get back

Dancing ste

Ste is really getting into this dance not sure who is more excited to be in the show Ste or Abigail

start practicing

After watching BGT talent final have  told mackie dog to start practicing for next year.  Have to say   thought the last 3 acts were great but David and the sailor boys were funny........only thing is watching only boys aloud reminds me how much miss singing and being in a choir

Busy day

Abigail has had a busy day dance this morning then extra dance this afternoon and she was really good and worked hard so proud of her cant wait to see her in the show she going to look so cute

Birthdays

Peters birthday day started with  toast in Costa then  cheshire oaks for peters birthday treat.  Compared to yesterday Samuel has been an angel and we have had a great  time out with mom and Peter only thing is may be in trouble because returned with Radley bags. 

But then very starnge not having abigail home as she has gone to her cousins birthday party she was so excited as its a girl only party

The gingerbread man

it was abigails first school assembly today and she was a little star.  her class did the story of the gingerbread man and abigail knew all the actions and word to her songs, then she starred in a fashion show showing of costumes that they had made for there african theme, where she did a solo dance then they sang there class song.  She is always my star but she was definatley a star today

where are they

where are friends when you need them prehaps the truth is i have no friends that care enougth to be there

who ever has stolen sammy and replaced him with a monstar can they please return him

Baking

dont know why i thought it would be a good idea to bake with both kids at the same time anyway all done postman pat fairy cakes iced and mars bar cake in fridge

Hurting

Went to the Army this morning and came home wondering why i had bothered because i came home upset sad and hurting.  I know it was my choice to stop wearing uniform and therefore come out of the songsters but it hurts when other people are able to sing and not wear uniform it hurts when people no longer speak to me and it hurts when no one seems to care.  There are those who say the miss me and want to see me back and i now they mean it.  But there are others who i think havent even noticed and others still who i dont think want me back.  I really miss singing but at the moment dont feel i can wear uniform as im not worthy of it so therefore i feel i can't sing at the moment.  I also really want to go back and feel like i cant go back.  So where does that leave me hurting.  Particularly when Abi asks why arent you singing mummy.  I wonder is it worth it

Patterns

Poor ste he ended up taking abi to dance because sammy grumpy and i had forgotten the greaseproof paper to copy the dress patten for Abigails costume so he had to do it ...he found a very helpful lady to help him who explained how to make it as well and then got very frustarated waiting for the skirt pattern as for me i am relieved he copied it cause a better chance of it being right.  Thankfully Nanny has come to the rescue and can understand the patten and instructions and is going to make the dresses for her otherwise Abi may have been dancing in her underwear

Brave boy

Sammy was a little star at the Doctors today giggled when he examined him and was good while we were waiting but he is not well the doctor giving him antibiotics incase it is a chest infection but could be asthma so he has to go back but hoping these antibiotics do the trick and he stays well this time.  and meanwhille its amaising what a bit of chocolate does so far managed to get him to take his medcine.
