Hospital Visit

Mummy took me to the Hospital today their were other children there as well. We went into see the doctor and the nurse measured me I am now 59cm and weighed me 5 1/2 kg or 12lb 2 0z. Mummy says im getting big. The Doctor then talked to mummy and said im growing fine and looked healthy and as there were no problems i didnt have to go again. not sure why i had to go today but mummy was pleased with what they said. We then went to tesco shopping and as there was a sale on mummy brought me some clothes for when im bigger.

Cards

We walked into town on Saturday and i needed some cards so we went to the card shop Ste needed to go in as well.. But as its mother day soon the shop was mad so Ste waited outside with Abi why i went in and then we were going to swap. I picked up the cards i needed and then went to look at birthday cards as it's Ste dads birthday soon so looked for a card for Abi to send. but as i was looking at the grandad cards i got upset when i thought Abi wont ever send my dad a birthday card - silly or what. Anyway i came away and went to Ste who as always was there for me. I guess dad knew that me and Abie would have Ste to look after us and that he didnt need to worry about us and that helped me. It would have been there 35th wedding anniversary today its a long time to be together and today its my turn to look after mum.

Laughter

Ste always complains that he cant find the tv control for the tv in the bedroom usually cause i watch the tv at night and its then lost somewhere over my side he likes to watch tv in morning and cant find the control. So he insists on it being kept in the middle. Last night after i had changed channels he took it of me to store safely away. But then wanted it and we couldn't find it so we searched under pillows under the bed shook the duvet to make sure it not on bed looked under the covers but it couldn't be found and it was very puzzling to where it had gone. The Ste looked over in to Abie moses basket and there the control was at her side just as if she had reached over and placed it there. Were not sure how it got there but it caused much laughter when we found it. (thankfully it didn't hurt Abi as it had landed at the side of the basket)

Then earlier Ste was playing with his new phone the screen having broken on his last one he is slowly replacing numbers. He decided to pick scobby doo as the ring tone for Peter. When he started it playing Macy jumped up and looked at his phone as if to say i like this. So betwen the two of them they have kept us ammused

Achievements

I managed to suck my thumb for the first time today mummy was pleased but daddy didn't seem to impressed. But i finally after much chewing of hands managed to get my thumb into my mouth.

Mummy took me to the doctors again today and the nice lady weighed me and I'm now 11lb and 6 1/2 oz. But then she took me to see the doctor again and she put something sharp in my legs which made me cry. Mummy said although it wasn't nice that it would stop me getting ill. Has anyone thought of names for my dollies yet as daddy is still insisting on Bert.

Abigails news

I managed to change the name of daddy's blog while he wasn't looking, not sure when he will notice. I have not been happy the last couple of days, mummy and daddy say I'm teething, but not sure what it is i now i don't like it though. I have started blowing bubbles which is cool though.

Been out today with mummy, daddy and grandma, mummy and daddy bought me two tops but they say i cant wear them yet as they wont fit but i will soon grew in to them, but daddy was pleased because they were reduced. They also took me into a shop that sold nice sparkly things and mummy kept telling daddy which she liked but i think he was ignoring her. I didn't take much notice what they were looking at because i was hungry and i thought i let them know. But i think it was something for me. I'm not sure what they are planning but after we had all had a drink they took me to a place that sold cakes and they definitely said they wanted one for me.

Bert And ?

Yesterday i received a lovely present off Uncle Jason and Auntie Chris, and as soon as mummy saw it she said Ernie, as daddy's name of Bert for my doll seems to have stuck. But i am not sure a pink dolly should be called Ernie and i am becoming more confused! Daddy said bertha but i dont like that name. Anyway have a look at my dollies.
